Terms & Conditions

1. Quality Guarantee & Freshness

We take immense pride in our craft. Every item in our menu—including our custom cakes, cupcakes, cookies, custom treats, and individual desserts—is a high-quality, boutique, fresh-baked product made specifically for your order using premium ingredients and no preservatives. Because our products are perishable and custom-made, all sales are final. While we strive for perfection, we do not offer exact color matching. Due to the nature of food dyes and the variables in digital screens versus physical icing, we will do our absolute best to come as close as possible to your requested shades, but a 100% match is not guaranteed.

2. Handling & Liability

Jassy's Sweets & Eats operates as an exclusive, delivery-based custom bakery. We do not offer a client pickup option; all orders are fulfilled via local delivery. Once your order has been successfully delivered and handed over to your designated representative, Jassy’s Sweets & Eats is no longer responsible for the condition of the baked goods. If you are transporting the desserts to a secondary location, they must be placed on a flat, level surface (such as a vehicle floorboard)—never on a car seat or at an angle. Ensure your vehicle is fully air-conditioned to prevent melting. Damage caused by improper subsequent transport, heat exposure, direct sunlight, or mishandling after delivery is not eligible for refund or replacement.

3. Storage & Care Instructions

Our custom treats are baked fresh daily without preservatives and are best enjoyed within 7 days from delivery if stored properly:

  • Cakes & Cupcakes: We recommend refrigerating cupcakes and cakes to maintain freshness. Please store your cake in a cool area or refrigerator until approximately one hour before your event to allow it to come to room temperature for the best possible flavor and texture.

  • Fondant & Edible Images: While standard cupcakes and cakes benefit from refrigeration, please note that extreme moisture and condensation from some refrigerators can cause specialized fondant elements or edible images to soften or bleed.

  • Cookies & Bars: These do not require refrigeration and will stay fresh for up to 7 days when kept in a cool, dry place in an airtight container.

  • Non-Edible Elements: Cakes and display items may contain structural supports such as plastic or wood dowels, pillars, or floral wire. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure these are removed before serving.

4. Design & Artistic License

We do not offer 100% replicas of inspiration photos provided by the client. We use these images as a guide for style, color palette, and concept only. We reserve the right to make minor artistic adjustments to ensure the structural integrity and best aesthetic result of the final product.

5. Payments & Invoicing

  • Payment Terms: Invoices are due upon receipt or by the specific "Requested By" date indicated on the invoice.

  • Order Confirmation: An order is not confirmed, and your spot on our calendar is not secure, until payment is received. Standard orders require a minimum of 72 hours notice, while large-scale catering orders require a minimum of 2 weeks notice.

  • Cancellation Policy: Invoices are automatically cancelled after 48 hours if payment has not been made.

  • Reconfirmation: If an invoice expires and the payment is not made, you will need to reconfirm the order. Re-booking is subject to current calendar availability.

6. Refund Policy

  • Non-Refundable Status: All products are baked fresh to order. All sweets are a final sale, and all payments are non-refundable under any conditions, including but not limited to event cancellations, guest count changes, or personal disputes.

  • Taste Preference: While we strive for deliciousness in every bite, taste is subjective. We do not offer refunds or exchanges based on individual flavor preferences.

7. Issue Resolution

We are deeply passionate about our clients having a wonderful experience with Jassy's Sweets & Eats. If you believe there is a genuine structural error or quality defect, please contact us directly within 24 hours of delivery. We will work in good faith to reasonably resolve any valid, substantiated concerns. To be eligible for a resolution, clear photographic evidence must be provided.

8. Order Modifications

Any modifications to your order (size, volume, flavor, or design) must be requested at least 14 days prior to the delivery date. Changes requested after this window may be denied due to baking schedules and ingredient sourcing, or they may be subject to additional rush fees. In the event of a client-initiated cancellation, payments are non-refundable but may be applied as a future credit at the bakery's sole discretion.

9. Delivery & Setup Services

  • Delivery Zones: Local delivery is available throughout Southern California, including Long Beach, Los Angeles, Orange County, and the surrounding areas. We do not deliver to public parks or beaches.

  • Delivery Fees: Delivery rates start at $35 for local areas and increase depending on your exact location. Deliveries to commercial buildings, corporate venues, or facilities with complex or difficult physical access start at $50 and up to account for the specialized handling required for these locations.

  • Service Level & Event Setup: For standard "Delivery Only" orders, our service includes transport to the venue and hand-off. We do not provide table setup, unboxing, or dessert styling unless the client has specifically secured a separate, formal contract for full-service event catering and display design. Because our delivery drivers operate on tight, back-to-back schedules, they cannot remain on-site to assist with display setup for standard orders.

  • Wait Times: If no one is available to receive the order at the scheduled delivery time, the driver will wait for a maximum of 15 minutes before proceeding to the next delivery. The items will be brought back, and a specialized re-delivery fee will apply.

10. Allergen Warning

Please be advised that our baked goods are prepared in a kitchen that is not nut-free.

  • Cross-Contamination: While we follow strict sanitization protocols to avoid cross-contamination, we bake in a kitchen and utilize equipment that handles wheat, eggs, dairy, soy, peanuts, and tree nuts. We cannot guarantee a 100% allergen-free environment.

  • Client Responsibility: We understand how serious allergen exposure can be. If you or your event guests have sensitivities or allergies, we recommend using extreme caution before consuming, and it is the client's sole responsibility to notify their guests of these potential allergens.
